SEO for plumbers
Be the Plumber They Already Trust When the Pipe Bursts
Homeowners look up plumbing problems long before they call anyone. We write the content that answers those questions, so when something breaks, your name is the one they already know.

How homeowners find a plumber
Two Kinds of Searches. You Need to Win Both.
Most plumbing sites only chase the first kind. Content wins the second, and it builds the relevance that helps with the first.
Urgent searches
"Emergency plumber near me." "Burst pipe." "Water heater leaking."
These go to the three businesses in the map pack, and the call happens in minutes.
Research searches
"How much does a water heater replacement cost?" "Why is my water bill so high?" "Tankless or tank?"
These people aren't calling yet. They're learning, and they're deciding who seems to know what they're talking about. More and more of them are asking ChatGPT or reading Google's AI answer instead of clicking a link.
What we write for plumbers
Built Around the Jobs You Want More Of
We start with keyword research and a look at the plumbers already ranking in your area. Then we plan topics around the work you actually want: water heaters, repiping, slab leaks, drain cleaning, sewer lines, whatever pays best for you.
Example topics. Yours will come from research on your market.
- 01How much does water heater replacement cost in [your city]?
- 02Tankless vs tank water heaters: which makes sense for an older home?
- 03Signs of a slab leak, and what to do before the plumber arrives
- 04Why does my drain keep clogging?
- 05Repiping a house: how long it takes and what it costs
- 06What to do in the first 10 minutes of a burst pipe
- 07Low water pressure in the whole house: common causes
- 08Is a sewer camera inspection worth it before buying a home?
What a month looks like
What You Get Each Month
- Blog posts that answer real homeowner questions and link to your service pages. 2, 3 or 4 a month depending on your plan.
- Google Business Profile posts that keep your profile active and send people to the right page. 4, 6 or 8 a month.
- Citations: 10 to 30 listings built in your first three months, including the directories homeowners use to find plumbers, then ongoing checks that your name, address and phone match everywhere.
- Your approval if you want it. Review topics or posts before they go out, or let us handle it.
| Plan | Blog posts / mo | GBP posts / mo |
|---|---|---|

| Growth$447/mo | 3 | 6 |
| Momentum$547/mo | 4 | 8 |
Every plan includes the same research, citations and review. No contracts.

What We Won’t Do
Some of what gets sold to plumbers as SEO puts your Business Profile at risk. We don’t do it.
- Stuff keywords into your business name. It works until a competitor reports you.
- Set up listings at fake addresses in cities you want to rank in.
- Write generic posts that could be about any plumber in any town.
- Promise you the #1 spot. Nobody honest can.
- Run your ads. We stick to content, and we’ll tell you if ads or Local Services Ads make more sense for you right now.
Proof, not promises
Closest to Plumbing: A Water Damage Company
We don’t have a plumbing case study yet. Our closest is ResqPros, a water, fire and mold restoration company in Riverside whose customers search for a lot of the same problems plumbers fix. Two weeks after their new site and first articles went live, they ranked #1 on Google Maps at their office for “water damage restoration,” up from #18.

FAQ
Plumber Questions
Will this get me into the map pack?
Content helps, but it isn’t the only factor. Your Google Business Profile, reviews and distance from the searcher matter a lot. Content builds the relevance Google looks for and gives AI tools a reason to recommend you. We’ll tell you honestly what else is holding you back.
How long until I see results?
New pages can start showing in search within weeks. Real movement in competitive markets usually takes three to six months of steady publishing. We’ll show you what’s changing along the way.
Do I need a new website?
Usually not. We work with the site you have. If it’s hard to update or isn’t built to turn visitors into calls, we’ll tell you during onboarding, and building sites is something we do.
Do you write about my specific services?
Yes. Topics come from research on your market and the jobs you want more of. Tell us what pays best and what you’d rather not do, and we’ll plan around it.
Is there a contract?
No. Plans are month to month and you can cancel anytime.
