Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 19, 2026
The Search Heroes is a service of SEO Hive, operated by [legal entity name] ("we," "us"). This policy explains what information we collect through thesearchheroes.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. We've kept it short and plain on purpose.
What we collect
- What you send us. When you fill out our fit-check form, we collect your name, business name, website, trade, service area, email, and anything else you choose to share, like your phone number or the plan you're interested in.
- What you send when you book a call. If you book a call through our scheduling tool, we receive your name, email, and the time you picked.
- Emails you send us. If you email us, we keep the message and your contact details so we can reply.
- How you use the site. We use Google Analytics to understand which pages people visit and how they found us. It uses cookies and collects information like your browser, device, approximate location (city level) and the pages you view. It does not tell us who you are.
- Basic server logs. Our hosting provider keeps standard logs, such as IP addresses and request times, for security and troubleshooting.
How we use it
- To reply to you and decide together whether we're a good fit
- To provide our services if you become a client
- To understand which pages and articles are useful, so we can improve the site
- To keep the site secure and working
We don't use your information to build advertising profiles, and we don't send marketing email unless you've asked us to.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for advertising. We only share it with the services we use to run the business, and only what they need to do their job:
- Website hosting: [hosting provider]
- Analytics: Google Analytics
- Scheduling: TidyCal
We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone's safety.
Client information
If you become a client, we may need access to your website, Google Business Profile and similar accounts to do the work. We use that access only to deliver the services you've signed up for, and you can remove it at any time. Our Terms of Service cover this in more detail.
How long we keep it
We keep fit-check submissions and emails for as long as we need them to talk with you, and for up to two years after our last contact unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Client records are kept as long as needed for the work and for our tax and accounting records.
Your choices
- Ask what we have, or ask us to delete it. Email [email protected] and we'll respond within 30 days.
- Opt out of analytics. You can block cookies in your browser or use Google's Analytics opt-out add-on.
- Stop hearing from us. Reply to any email and ask us to stop.
If you live in California or another place with its own privacy law, you may have additional rights, such as knowing what we collect and asking us to correct or delete it. We'll honor those requests the same way.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards, like encrypted connections (HTTPS) and limited access to client accounts. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
Children
This site is for businesses. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we'll make it clear on this page.
