Terms of Service
Effective date: October 19, 2026
These terms cover your use of thesearchheroes.com and the content services we provide. The Search Heroes is a service of SEO Hive, operated by [legal entity name] ("we," "us"). By using the site or signing up for a plan, you agree to these terms.
1. Our services
We provide strategy and content for local businesses: keyword and competitor research, blog posts, Google Business Profile posts, and local citation building, as described in the plan you choose. The current plans and what they include are listed in our pricing section. If anything in a written proposal or onboarding summary we send you differs from that page, the written version for your account wins.
2. How the content is made
Every plan starts with research done by our team. AI tools help draft content from that research, and a person on our team reviews and edits every piece before it's delivered or published. You can ask to approve topics or posts before they go out.
3. Fees and billing
- Plans are billed monthly, in advance, at the price shown when you sign up.
- Plans renew each month until you cancel.
- If a payment fails, we'll let you know. We may pause work until it's resolved.
- We'll give you at least 30 days' notice before any price change on your plan.
4. No contracts, cancel anytime
You can cancel at any time by emailing [email protected]. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid month, and we'll finish that month's work. We don't refund partial months.
5. What we need from you
- Accurate information about your business, services and service area
- Access to the accounts we need, such as your website and Google Business Profile, or someone who can publish for us
- Prompt replies when something needs your decision. If you've asked to approve content and we don't hear back within 7 days, we'll hold it until you do.
You keep ownership of your accounts at all times and can remove our access whenever you like.
6. Who owns the content
Once you've paid for the month it was delivered in, the blog and Business Profile content we create for you is yours to keep and use however you like, including after you cancel. We keep the right to use our own methods, templates and research process for other clients. We won't publish your name or results, for example as a case study, without your permission.
7. No guarantees on rankings
Search engines, maps and AI tools decide rankings and recommendations on their own, and they change how they work without notice. We'll do careful, honest work and show you what's changing, but we can't guarantee any specific ranking, traffic, number of calls or AI mention. Anyone who does is guessing.
8. Third-party platforms
Our work runs on platforms we don't control, including Google, your website host and the directories we list you in. We're not responsible for their outages, policy changes, suspensions or decisions. We'll follow their published guidelines and won't do anything we believe puts your accounts at risk.
9. Confidentiality
We'll keep your account access, business details and results private, except as needed to do the work or as you allow.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim. We're not liable for indirect or lost-profit damages.
11. Ending the relationship
You can cancel as described in section 4. We can also end service with 30 days' notice, or right away if a payment is more than 30 days late or if continuing would require us to break the law or a platform's rules. Sections 6, 7, 10 and 13 continue after service ends.
12. Using this website
The articles and guides on this site are general information, not advice for your specific situation. You're welcome to share and link to them. Please don't copy them wholesale onto another site.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by California law. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of [county], California, unless we agree to resolve it another way.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and if you're a client, we'll email you about significant changes at least 30 days before they take effect.
